Sisal carpets are mainly woven and then cut to a fine finish.
However, before the weaving process can be carried out, the sisal yarn needs to be prepared in advance, i.e. the sisal fibres are spun.
The surface texture of sisal carpets varies according to the thickness of the thread and the weaving process. But in general, sisal carpets are simple, plain, without complex patterns and colours, giving a sense of authenticity back to nature.
Sisal carpets go through the process of spinning, weaving and cutting, and then they have to go through the process of quality inspection before they are finished. The workers check whether the surface of the carpet is flat and whether there are any holes that have not been woven on, and repair the missing parts by hand to ensure the quality of the carpet.
